In regards to his educational background, Dr. King earned his bachelor’s degree from Claflin University in South Carolina, where he graduated with honours in Biology/Chemistry. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Upon graduation, he completed his surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Following his training, the doctor explored new horizons and left the United States for Europe, where he worked with the organization Doctors without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres). The experience he gained there placed a different dimension on procedures for the foot and ankle.
